UDP / ICMP Issue Started 9/12/2025

If you use Wireguard for a VPN, we have started noticing an issue with some of the VPN connections. Starting after midnight on 9/12/2025, it seems that UDP traffic into the TruVista network is being hampered. Our indication is the fact that my son, who lives in Seattle, has a Wireguard VPN to my home network here. We've had no issues with this connection, until 9/12/2025. It seems to affect UDP and ICMP coming into the TruVista network. Wireguard VPN connections and UDP based techologies inside the TruVista network do not seem to be affected.

So far, notifications to TruVista have resulted in no real action, though my sales rep has tried his best.

Just FYI in case anyone else is seeing these types of issues.
 
Now it's 9/16/25 and I still can't get anyone at TruVista to REALLY take a look at this issue. /sigh
 
Seems the issue finally was resolved on the morning of 9/18/25 -- though I don't know who did it or what the cause was. No one at TruVista ever reached out for any tests or to let me know anything.
